• Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting and sanitizing furniture, equipment, mirrors and fixtures.
• Washing windows, walls, ceilings, vents and light fixtures.
• Sweeping, scrubbing and refinishing floors.
• Vacuuming and shampooing carpet.
• Re‑restocking restrooms.
• Replacing light bulbs.
• Reporting repairs and equipment failures.
• Assists with outdoor cleaning of parking lots, windows and roofs, using ladders when necessary.
• Works with cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, floor strippers and finishes.
• Handles waste removal: collects and transports soiled linen, empties trash containers, changes sharps containers, transports hazardous waste to compactors, recycles materials and empties cigarette receptacles.
• Maintains a safe working environment and complies with infection control guidelines and department quality standards.
• Attends all required in‑service education and training, including safety updates.
• Demonstrates the ability to meet time schedules and deadlines consistently.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent (Preferred).
• One year of experience (Preferred).
• Ability to prioritize assignments and complete work in a timely manner.
• Capability to operate cleaning equipment.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co‑workers.

• Repeats work per set procedures.
• Fast‑paced and stressful.
• May work in contaminated, isolation, construction and renovation areas.
• Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures and unpleasant odors.
• Exposure to individuals with varying degrees of mental, physical conditions and illnesses.

• Base compensation within the listed pay range based on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and training.
