Senior Human Resources Manager Job Overview

    5 month contract with possible extension.
  • Pay Rate: $50 – $55 per hour on W2.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic HR Leadership
    • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with production and workforce needs.
    • Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational effectiveness, talent development, and workforce planning.
    • Lead culture-building initiatives that support a high-performance environment.
  • Agency & Workforce Management
    • Oversee relationships with third-party staffing agencies to ensure timely and quality labor support.
    • Ensure alignment between agency labor practices and company standards.
    • Monitor agency performance, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
    • Align contingent labor strategies with production forecasts and seasonal demands.
  • HR Program Execution
    • Recruitment and onboarding.
    • Training and career development.
    • Employee relations.
    • Compensation and benefits training.
    • Support line managers in applying HR programs to departmental operations.
  • Policy & Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., EEO, FMLA, FLSA).
    • Respond to employee and candidate inquiries regarding HR policies and offerings.
    • Lead investigations and risk mitigation efforts.
  • HR Operations & Service Delivery
    • Oversee and optimize the delivery of core HR services and administrative processes across the employee lifecycle.
    • Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable and compliant HR procedures.
    • Ensure consistent and efficient execution of HR transactions and workflows.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate employee data and uphold service level standards.
    • Drive operational excellence through metrics, process audits, and system-supported solutions.
  • Culture & Engagement
    • Champion employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
    • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Lead and develop a team of HR professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities for the employee population.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, safety, maintenance, FSQA, and EHS teams.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in the food manufacturing space.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
