Salary Range: $40,000.00 To $70,000.00 Annually

The Transload Coordinator is responsible for performing shipping and receiving from Port to Warehouse not limited to final delivery. Communicate with Warehouse personnel arrange staging and/or loading of material.

Roles and Responsibilities

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Quoting several modes of transportation based on the customers’ needs
• Coordinating shipments with customers and booking with trucking carriers
• Negotiating rates with trucking carriers
• Tracking shipments and updating customers
• Learning and understanding trucking markets
• Developing new carrier relationships
• Maintain strong communication with customers and building customer relationships
• Enter and maintain inventory and activity data into the appropriate system
• Maintains quality customer service by following organization standards
• Keeps management apprised of any delays or discrepancies
• Complies with standard operating procedures, rules, and regulations
• Maintain accurate inventory counts
• Other duties as assigned

• High School or GED equivalent
• Bachelor’s Degree is encouraged but not required
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in an office environment
• 2+ years in LTL Trucking position
• 2+ years in the Logistics or Shipping Industry
• Global Supply Chain knowledge helpful

• Ability to communicate and provide great customer service
• Being able to work independently and part of a team
• Able to cope under pressure and meet deadlines
• Outgoing and forward-thinking mindset
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and comfortable performing a wide variety of tasks
