We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Technician to support the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of our refrigerated food production facility. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance in an industrial or food manufacturing environment.

• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration support systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on production equipment, facility infrastructure, and utilities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Monitor and maintain critical systems such as compressors, chillers, boilers, and water treatment.
• Support maintenance of conveyors, packaging equipment, and other production machinery as needed.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with production, sanitation, and safety teams to support smooth operations in a refrigerated environment.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, and facility safety standards.

• 3+ years of facilities or maintenance technician experience in manufacturing, food production, or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and work with diagnostic tools.
• Refrigeration (ammonia or Freon) and/or boiler operation experience preferred.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) a plus.
• Must be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle fast-paced production environments.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in cold storage/refrigerated settings as required.
