🍣 WE ARE HIRING – SUSHI CHEF & SUSHI HELPER

Location:

Supermarket Sushi Department.

Positions Available:

• Sushi Chef
• Sushi Helper / Sushi Assistant

• Prepare sushi, rolls, sashimi, and related items daily.
• Ensure high standards of food quality, freshness, and presentation.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
• Manage prep, inventory, and minimize waste.
• Work efficiently in a fast‑paced supermarket environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstation and equipment.

• Previous sushi experience required.
• Knowledge of sushi rice, knife skills, and basic Japanese ingredients.
• Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented.
• Ability to stand for long hours and lift light supplies.

• Assist sushi chef with prep work (rice, vegetables, packaging).
• Portion, label, and pack sushi products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of sushi station.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Support daily production and restocking.

• Experience preferred but willing to train.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Able to follow instructions and work as a team.

• Stable supermarket location.

Employment: Full-time
Salary: $15 – $17 hourly
