Merchandise and Stocking Associate at Sam's Club.

Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $25.00/hr

Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; assists members with purchasing decisions; locates merchandise; resolves member issues and concerns; and promotes the company's products and services.

Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps; following forklift spotting procedures; following procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials; correcting and reporting unsafe situations to management.

Maintains the sales floor and merchandise presentation by properly zoning the area; stocking, arranging and organizing merchandise; setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays; removing damaged goods; pricing merchandise according to company policies; identifying shrink and damages; securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.

Monitors product quality, rotation, coding, recalls, and sanitation standards; ensures prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise.

Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; executes related action plans; operates with Open Door Policy; and uses these in business processes and practices.

Completes work assignments by using policies, data and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress and information; seeks improvements and adapts to change.

Ensures club pick up orders are filled and staged according to policy and procedures.
