Position Summary:
This outside sales position markets and sells Daily Rentals of commercial trucks business-to-business, to financial and operations executives. Candidates should possess a strong sales aptitude and high drive to generate qualified opportunities.
Compensation:
$55,000 - $69,000 salary and participates in the rental commission plan.
Primary
Job Responsibilities:
- Prospecting daily using in-person, telephone, e-marketing and other methods to consistently develop a pipeline of opportunities.
- Conducts discovery interviews with prospects and customers to identify rental opportunities.
- Develops and performs 3 new Rental proposals per week and achieves 35% close ratio.
- Documents and completes utilization and sales reports for commission reporting.
- Maintains customer relationships with routine customer visits and responsive communication.
- Documents prospecting, customer calls and opportunity development rigorously in the CRM.
- Participates and helps organize rental sales blitzes.
- Participates and helps develop rental marketing materials.
- Assist Rental Managers to source available units for upcoming rental reservations.

Education and/or
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or four years of B2B sales experience.
- Experience generating leads using in-person, telephone and e-mail tactics.
- Experience cultivating opportunities with sales leads.
- Experience selling service agreements and/or financial service products.
Language
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Able to articulate complex subjects clearly and concisely.
- High level of responsiveness to internal and external communications.
Mathematical
Skills:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Understands basic financial principles e.g., residuals, amortization, depreciation.
- Able to calculate and understand equipment costs, residuals and payment structures.
