WAITER/WAITRESS (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

• Schedule:
  
  Full time and part time schedules; open availability is preferred. Days and hours may vary. More details upon interview.
• Requirement:
  No previous experience required.

• Pay Range: $17.00 per hour to $19.00 per hour.

Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests.

• Promptly and warmly greet guests, take food and beverages efficiently, following established steps of service.
• Deliver food promptly, professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards; follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs.
• Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients; advise guests on appropriate combinations; accommodate reasonable requests and notes preferences; demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed.
• Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct delivery and accommodations of special requests.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills and ability to work well with others; remain flexible and patient when interacting with guests and staff.
• Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
• Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
• Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared.
• Promptly address complaints or issues; relay relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor.
• Ensure dining room is properly set up prior to and after service; keep area clean and neat while meeting sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
• Work with staff from other departments during special events and functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
