Hours:

6am-2pm

• Training new employees and back-up operators
• Follow spec sheets
• Prepare machines for production runs by setting them up and adjusting them
• Monitor machines while they are running to identify issues or malfunctions
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to keep machines in good condition
• Check the output of their machines to ensure they meet quality standards
• Follow all safety procedures and wear the required protective gear. They should also be knowledgeable about how to handle machinery and chemicals safely. Keep their work area clean and safe
• Keep activity logs and production paperwork
• Follow direction of shift leadership and ask questions if uncertain
• Input required data into systems such as ERP and Safety Chain
• Ability to learn new tasks and grow within a continuing growing environment

• At least 1 year of machine operating experience
• At least 1 year of production experience required
• Must have previous production line or machine operator experience with Cavana, enrobers, or matrix machines
• Ability to learn Panel View interphase and operate state-of-the-art equipment
• Ability to provide the proper maintenance of equipment—servicing and frequent cleaning as required
• Chocolate/tempering experience a plus
• Ability to read and write English

• Must be able to work any/all shifts as directed
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary, including holidays and/or weekends
• Standing/walking for long period of time
• Must be a Safety Champion and adhere to all safety programs and procedures

• A non-slip resistant work shoe
• Must be able to work all shifts as directed
• Pre-shift stretch and exercises to be performed
• Ability to work on their feet 8+ hours at a time
• Hair restraint, beard net (if needed), and safety gloves as needed
• All required PPEs are worn properly when working with equipment or chemicals that require personal protection
• Position requires the ability to stand, sit at a desk, walk around the facility, lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted, reach, kneel, crawl, and twist
• Also requires the ability to see, hear, and communicate with associates as well as others by utilizing professional etiquette
