About the Role Elevate Solutions is seeking an experienced, hands-on Screen Printing Lead to oversee our screen printing department. This role combines daily production work with responsibility for scheduling, quality control, troubleshooting, and leading a small team.

You’ll work alongside an experienced operator who knows our equipment and processes. We’re looking for someone who brings strong screen printing expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to help our department improve its quality, efficiency, and production capabilities.

Key Responsibilities Production & Technical Expertise Set up and operate screen printing equipment to produce consistent, high-quality apparel.

Oversee job preparation, including screens, inks, registration, placement, and press settings.

Troubleshoot printing issues such as registration problems, ink coverage, curing, and garment compatibility.

Verify job specifications, artwork, garment counts, and decoration requirements before production.

Monitor curing temperatures and conduct appropriate quality checks to ensure print durability.

Oversee screen preparation, reclaiming, and proper storage.

Department Leadership & Scheduling Organize daily production priorities to meet deadlines and make effective use of available staff and equipment.

Work alongside team members throughout production while providing clear direction and support.

Train and coach employees on printing techniques, quality standards, equipment care, and safe work practices.

Coordinate with project managers and other production departments to clarify job requirements and communicate progress.

Identify potential delays or production concerns early and help resolve them.

Recommend improvements that reduce waste, rework, and setup time.

Quality, Equipment & Supplies Check print quality, color accuracy, registration, and placement throughout each run.

Maintain accurate production counts and document spoilage or job discrepancies.

Perform routine equipment cleaning and preventive maintenance, and communicate repair needs.

Monitor ink, screen, chemical, and other supply levels to keep production moving.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications Strong professional apparel screen printing experience, including independent press setup, operation, and troubleshooting.

Working knowledge of multicolor printing, registration, ink systems, curing requirements, and printing on different garment fabrics.

Ability to diagnose production problems and make practical adjustments while maintaining quality.

Previous lead, supervisory, or employee-training experience preferred.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs and deadlines.

Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to leadership.

Attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, consistent work.

Ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle garments, screens, supplies, and other production materials.
