We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic leader to drive our online marketplace business. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in eCommerce and marketplace operations, with a strong track record of managing P&L, driving profitability, and scaling online sales channels with direct experience managing a business on Amazon. This individual should possess a general manager’s mindset, demonstrating ownership over advertising strategy, inventory and assortment, pricing, fulfillment, site merchandising, reporting, and analysis.
This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, and effectively collaborate across teams to optimize performance and maximize revenue.
Strategy & Leadership- Own the strategy, execution, and performance for all marketplace channels, with a primary focus on Amazon.
- Manage pricing and promotional calendar, as well as account negotiations, to drive profitable growth.
- Partner with operations to oversee inventory management and fulfillment.
- Partner with merchandising and product teams to align on key initiatives and product assortment, briefing in channel opportunities.
- Collaborate with Amazon account managers and external agency partners to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Drive forecasting and continuously analyze performance data and market trends; generate and present performance reports, insights, and recommendations to leadership.
- Lead the advertising strategy and campaign investments to maximize visibility and sales, partnering with the acquisition team and external agency partners to forecast and optimize investment needed to drive business and improve ROI.
- Leverage advanced analytics (AMC) to improve full‑funnel ad strategies, audience targeting, and competitive intelligence.
- Brief creative needs required for marketing assets to secure A+ content and establish an elevated brand expression, optimizing for clicks and conversion.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify competitor strategies related to product listings, ads, and keywords, enhancing campaign performance and capturing market share.
- Enhance and monitor customer reviews, ratings, returns and feedback to maintain a strong brand reputation.
- Monitor and address counterfeit and reseller issues to maintain brand integrity.
- Identify and evaluate new marketplace opportunities to expand brand presence and revenue.
- Partner with wholesale team to ensure strong representation and strategic marketing investments in other wholesale marketplaces across the digital ecosystem.
- Monitor how Kizik shows up across the digital ecosystem, developing a perspective on product segmentation and content needs to ensure the best digital expression of the brand.
- Provide guidance and strategic support to international team & distributors in the development and deployment of marketing assets and plans for websites and marketplaces, sharing best practices, tools, and insights.
- 5+ years managing online marketplaces, including Amazon.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive actionable insights.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple initiatives.
- Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Power user of website analytics and marketing measurement tools.
- Passion for building strong brands with a consumer focus.
- Occasional travel to Lindon, UT HQ if remote-based.
