Security Officer; Part Time

We are seeking a reliable and observant Part-Time Security Officer to join our Enterprise Security Team. This role is critical in maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and company assets. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and capable of responding calmly and effectively in various situations.

• Monitor premises via patrols and surveillance systems
• Control access to the facility and verify credentials
• Respond to alarms and investigate incidents
• Write detailed incident and shift reports
• Assist employees and visitors with security-related concerns
• Enforce company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends

• Knowledge of Genetec Security Desk
• Incident Report Writing Skills
• Exceptional Teamwork
• Self-motivated
• Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)

The position is an onsite position. Personnel will be required to conduct physical on site and virtual patrols (video) of other sites using the Genetec Security Desk. Personnel will be required to complete comprehensive incident reports in the established incident report system.
