PositionSummary
The Executive Assistant provides high‑level, confidential administrative and operational support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) in a fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder hospital environment. The role is accountable for coordinating executive workflows, portfolio reporting, meetings, correspondence, financial and IT‑related administrative processes, and document management activities. The Executive Assistant acts as a key liaison between the CFO and CIO, Senior Leadership, Directors, Finance and Digital Health teams, external partners, and system stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and professional execution of organizational priorities.
EssentialQualifications
- Post‑secondary diploma in Office or Business Administration
- Minimum five (5) years of executive‑level administrative experience, preferably in a hospital or complex public‑sector environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong business writing, minute‑taking, and report‑preparation skills
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time‑management abilities
- High level of judgment, discretion, political acuity, and confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with senior leaders and external partners
- Accuracy and attention to detail in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative executive support team
- Must be able to fulfill physical requirements of the job, as per current Physical Demands Analysis
- University degree in Business Administration or related field
Primarily day shift, Monday to Friday; some early mornings and evenings may be required to support committee meetings. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements. The role is onsite in Lindsay, ON.
