Position: Health and Safety Coordinator Pomerleau
Location: Kawartha Lakes

In this critical role, you will lead health and safety initiatives, working closely with project teams to instill Pomerleau's H&S standards and OH&S Acts. Your extensive experience will allow you to conduct site inspections, investigate incidents, and develop training programs. You will also be a significant contributor to national projects like the Arctic Over-the-Horizon Radar Project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote health and safety compliance among project teams

• Conduct regular site inspections for safety assurance

• Lead incident investigations and report to H&S Manager

• Mentor and train team members on safety best practices

• Analyze safety statistics to drive proactive improvements

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of Health & Safety experience in construction

• Background in Occupational Health & Safety or risk management

• Familiarity with COR and Safety Group standards

• Excellent people management and relationship-building skills

• Proficient with software for monitoring health and safety
