Location: Kawartha Lakes
Become an EHS Coordinator at Aecon, ensuring the highest safety standards in major construction projects.
Your role will be pivotal in compliance and health strategy development.
You will report to the Director of Health and Safety and actively participate in field inspections and incident management. This position requires a proactive approach to safety compliance within construction frameworks, driving continuous improvements across initiatives. Collaborate effectively with site teams, ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee regulations compliance at construction sites
• Conduct daily health and safety inspections
• Implement action plans post-accidents and incidents
• Maintain accurate data for reporting and analysis
• Prepare regular health and safety performance reports
Requirements:
• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
• Health and Safety Coordination certification or NCSO
• Experience in construction industry health roles
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and analytics tools
• Willingness to travel to various job sites
