Trillium Lakelands District School Board is currently accepting applications for the position of Uncertified Secondary Occasional Teacher. Interviews will be held on an ongoing basis. The City of Kawartha Lakes area includes I.E. Weldon Secondary School, L.C.V.I., and Fenelon Falls Secondary School, along with the Lindsay and Fenelon Falls Adult & Alternate Education Centres, and the Virtual Learning Centre.

• Must currently hold a four (4) year University degree or be currently enrolled in University as a 3rd or 4th year student.
• Must have a minimum of six (6) months hands on experience with children.
• Have a proven ability and willingness to support students with special needs.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a school environment.
• Availability to accept assignments on a casual basis during the day and on short notice.
• Can provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check prior to commencing employment.
• Wage rate: $234.20 per day.
