POSITION: Secondary Occasional Teacher

AREA: Haliburton

Trillium Lakelands District School Board is currently accepting applications for its Secondary Occasional Teacher List (Roster) from qualified teachers who are available for daily supply and/or long-term occasional positions. Interviews will be held on an ongoing basis. The Haliburton area includes Haliburton Highlands Secondary School, along with the Virtual Learning Centre.

Qualifications

Applicants must have Intermediate and Senior qualifications. Applications from teachers in all secondary teachable disciplines are welcome and we have a specific need for teachers who are qualified in English, Math, Science, French and Technological Studies. Special Education qualifications are an asset.

Application requirements

All applicants who meet the above criteria must submit the following items:

• a cover letter
• a resume outlining teaching experience, if applicable
• a current copy of their OCT Qualifications Certificate
• the names and contact information of three teaching-related references
• no documents other than those listed above will be accepted in the application (if time allows, additional documents may be presented during your interview).
