Supply Educator at Compass ELC

Become a Supply Educator with Compass Early Learning and Care, where you’ll engage and connect with children in nurturing environments. This role requires creativity and a passion for early learning.

As a Supply Educator, you will work flexibly across 42 licensed childcare programs in East-Central Ontario. This position emphasizes emergent curriculum and lifelong learning, allowing you to inspire curiosity and creativity among children. You will collaborate with passionate educators and community partners, fostering an inclusive culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work a minimum of 2 shifts per month based on program needs

• Plan and lead interest-based learning experiences

• Observe and document children's developmental progress

• Build relationships with families and support engagement

• Ensure safety and cleanliness within childcare spaces

Requirements:

• Familiar with the Child Care Early Years Act

• Experience with children and youth in education

• Relevant documents:
Police Check, First Aid, immunization records

• Registered with College of Early Childhood Educators

• Post-secondary degree in related fields preferred
