The City of Kawartha Lakes is hiring a Senior Engineering Technician to support various engineering initiatives in the Technical Services Division. You will be responsible for asset management, project budgeting, and inter-departmental collaboration to ensure the highest service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and rehabilitate capital assets effectively

• Coordinate engineering inspections and external contractors

• Support budget preparation for projects and operations

• Prepare detailed engineering reports and recommendations

• Conduct traffic counts and oversee associated data assessment

Requirements:

• Civil Engineering diploma or relevant field of study

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar environment

• Eligible for OACETT certification; CET designation preferred

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities

• Class “G” Driver’s Licence valid in Ontario
