Senior Propulsion Maintenance Engineer at Horizon

Join Horizon as a Senior Propulsion Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, focusing on hybrid-electric propulsion systems. You will tackle major maintenance and inspection challenges in an innovative aerospace environment.

As a key member of the Horizon team, your role will involve the maintenance and certification of propulsion systems on our cutting-edge prototype and production aircraft. You will apply your strong technical background and engage in troubleshooting and testing tasks to enhance product reliability and performance. This position offers you the chance to mentor junior engineers and participate in compliance activities with Transport Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and certification of propulsion components

• Troubleshoot propulsion system faults using diagnostic tools

• Support propulsion system installation and ground validation

• Review aircraft maintenance manuals and contribute to documentation

• Mentor junior AMEs and provide leadership on the floor

Requirements:

• Valid Transport Canada AME licence with turbine endorsements

• Minimum 7 years of propulsion maintenance experience

• Strong knowledge of engine and fuel systems

• Familiarity with CAR 571/573 standards

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manuals
