The City of Kawartha Lakes seeks a Senior Engineering Technician to engage in planning, development proposals, and master drainage plans. This role is for an experienced professional, requiring a minimum of five years in capital project management, road design, and water/sewer infrastructure. You will ensure successful collaboration with various departments while fostering a safe and innovative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate approval of planning applications and development proposals

• Manage preparation of master drainage plans and studies

• Liaise with Water/Wastewater Division on system models

• Analyze project costs and recommend efficiencies

• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in Civil Engineering

• Minimum five years of progressive experience

• Must have or be eligible for OACETT designation

• Proficient in Total Station Surveys and layout

• Valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s Licence
