In this role, you will ensure the maintenance and certification of complex propulsion systems including turbine engines and electric motors. Collaborate with engineers, oversee documentation, and mentor junior team members. This position is suited for those passionate about pushing the boundaries of aerospace technology in a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct maintenance and certification of propulsion components
• Sign off on maintenance work per Canadian regulations
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot system faults
• Collaborate on first-flight readiness checks
• Lead training sessions for junior AMEs
Requirements:
• Valid Transport Canada AME licence (M1, M2, or E category)
• At least 7 years of maintenance experience
• Comprehensive understanding of propulsion system operations
• Familiarity with engine maintenance standards
• Detail-oriented in record-keeping practices
