Senior Technician Development Engineering

Position: Senior Technician Development Engineering Role
Transform the City of Kawartha Lakes as a Senior Engineering Technician in Development. Lead vital projects that impact community welfare from our Lindsay, ON office.

As a Senior Engineering Technician, you will coordinate and oversee significant development proposals and master drainage plans within the municipality. This position necessitates at least five years of experience in engineering roles, focusing on capital project management and infrastructure. Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with all applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate review and approval processes for development applications

• Manage budgeting and financial control for assigned projects

• Perform technical reviews of plans and engineering reports

• Oversee work of external contractors and consultants

• Respond to public inquiries regarding engineering services

Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field

• Minimum five years of related experience

• Eligibility for OACETT designation preferred

• Strong organizational and administrative skills

• Excellent written communication and attention to detail
