As a Municipal Water Operator, you'll perform crucial duties in water distribution and wastewater management. With a minimum of three years of operational experience, you'll handle maintenance activities, compliance checks, and inspections efficiently.
Your role will include responding to water quality inquiries and ensuring optimal system performance across the city.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and manage water treatment facilities effectively
• Conduct inspections and perform preventative maintenance tasks
• Analyze water quality and address customer service issues
• Document maintenance procedures and communicate updates
• Comply with safety and municipal regulations in all operations
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in Environmental Studies or similar
• Three years of experience with water and wastewater systems
• Valid Class III and IV certifications required
• Proficient in SCADA/PLC systems
• Possession of a valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence
