Financial Services Representative (Permanent, Full-time)
Location: Lindsay, ON
Hours: 37.5 hours per week;
Monday to Saturday
Rate of Pay: $900.47 - $1,447.13 per week (plus applicable benefits)
Compensation:
Compensation for this position is determined by skills, experience, and education. It is aligned with the locations market data, as well as internal equity. Candidates whose qualifications more closely align with the job requirements may be placed higher within the compensation range. Specialize in retail lending, recommending solutions which will enable our members to achieve their personal financial objectives.Anticipate and determine the needs of members. Transact request or refer the member to the suitable service area.Conduct interviews (personal loans, lines-of-credit and mortgages), complete document/application preparation and credit analysis.Approve or decline credit applications that are within assigned lending limits; or make a recommendation to the applicable Manager/Lender for approval or decline of credit applications not within assigned lending limits.Provide needs-based advice, counselling members on financial matters such as family budgeting, credit management and investment/retirement planning.Identify opportunities to generate sales and new members.Monitor the renewal of maturing investments, mortgages and loans. Ensure members receive appropriate notice, advising of alternative options and assist with renewals.Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with members by providing excellent member service.Perform other duties as needed or assigned.Qualifications:
Post-secondary education with emphasis in business or financial planning would be an assetA minimum of two years’ comprehensive experience in consumer lendingAdvanced member service and sales skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsMutual Funds License, active and in good standing would be an assetWillingness to complete additional educational components as requiredAt Kawartha Financial Services diversity and inclusion are reflected in our core values and highlighted in our care for others.
