Take on the role of Maintenance Lead at the John W. Lindsay YMCA, ensuring facilities are safe and well-maintained. Support YMCA operations by maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards.

In this full-time position, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and be an integral part of enhancing member experiences at the YMCA. You'll ensure safe operations for all facilities, including pools, saunas, and steam rooms while managing maintenance logistics and cleaning requirements.

Your role is crucial in supporting a culture of continuous improvement within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain overall facility standards at YMCA locations

• Ensure safe operations in pools and wellness areas

• Coordinate cleaning and maintenance supply management

• Adjust HVAC systems as per requirements

• Conduct general cleaning and equipment setup

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in facility maintenance

• Certifications in Pool Operation, Electrical, or HVAC a plus

• Strong WHMIS knowledge and safety mindset

• Ability to work independently and with flexibility

• Excellent communication and task management skills
