Position: Aerospace Production Director - Horizon Aircraft
Lead the aerospace revolution as Head of Production Engineering at Horizon Aircraft near Kawartha Lakes, Ontario. This hands-on role requires strategic vision combined with execution.

Horizon Aircraft invites an experienced production leader to head our engineering team at a transformative time. In this pivotal role, you will not only guide the establishment of production environments but also actively participate in the hands-on assembly of our first developmental aircraft. Your strategic oversight will be crucial as the team builds the foundation for future production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive production procedures and quality frameworks

• Establish configuration management and workflows for builds

• Mentor and build a high-performing production team

• Collaborate closely with engineering on assembly techniques

• Engage with regulatory requirements for transition planning

Requirements:

• At least 8 years in aerospace manufacturing

• Direct experience in QA processes and documentation

• Proven record of writing effective production plans

• Strong background in shop safety and FOD prevention

• Ability to interpret engineering specifications
