Position: Registered Nurse: Join Ross Memorial Hospital Team
Support surgical excellence at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario as a Permanent Part-Time Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. Engage with a dynamic team committed to patient-centered care during elective and emergency surgeries.
This role is ideal for Registered Nurses with a minimum of two years of Operating Room experience. Successful candidates must have a certificate in Peri-Operative Nursing or equivalent experience, demonstrating effective communication and adaptability to a fast-paced environment. You will ensure comprehensive care for all patients while adhering to established protocols and administrative guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical procedures as a scrub nurse

• Maintain patient safety and comfort during operations

• Work effectively with surgeons and anesthetists

• Achieve compliance with ORNAC and IPAC standards

• Participate in team meetings and continuous education
Requirements:

• College of Nurses of Ontario registration in good standing

• Two years of current OR nursing experience

• Current BCLS certification required

• Flexible availability for shifts, including on-call

• Commitment to personal and professional development
