As a Permanent Part-Time Registered Nurse within the Central East Behavioural Supports Ontario program, you will aid complex patients dealing with dementia and mental health issues. Your expertise will coordinate with in-patient teams, providing essential support and knowledge to enhance care for these individuals. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive care and seamless transitions for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expertise for patients with responsive behaviours
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for enhanced care
• Conduct specialized assessments and develop care plans
• Participate in consultations on behavioural health care
• Liaise with community agencies for effective communication
Requirements:
• Unrestricted Ontario Nursing Registration
• 3+ years of geriatrics experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Proficiency in advanced technology applications
