Casual Registered Practical Nurse at RMH

Join the Ross Memorial Hospital team in Lindsay, Ontario as a Casual Registered Practical Nurse. This role in the Emergency Department focuses on patient care, advanced assessments, and teamwork.

The Emergency Department is seeking a dedicated RPN to provide quality patient care. Successful candidates will bring a minimum of two years of medical/surgical experience and possess strong organizational and communication skills. You will work seamlessly with families, community agencies, and the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient health conditions

• Administer medications and perform health teaching

• Collaborate with emergency department team members

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records

• Adapt to fast-paced, changing priorities

Requirements:

• Graduate from a recognized RPN program

• Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Minimum of two years medical/surgical experience

• Current BCLS certification on hire

• Basic computer skills and knowledge of community resources
