Inpatient Clinical Scholar at RMH

Contribute to nursing education as a Clinical Scholar at Ross Memorial Hospital, specializing in inpatient acute and post-acute care in Lindsay, Ontario. This temporary role provides mentorship while fostering evidence-based practices among nursing staff.

As a Clinical Scholar, you will report to the Manager of Professional Practice and Education, working to integrate and support newly graduated and internationally educated nurses. Your responsibilities include assessing learning needs, designing educational programs, and providing supervision in clinical settings. This role is crucial in maintaining high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess learning needs and develop educational plans

• Mentor and support novice nurses during their orientation

• Offer direct supervision and leadership in nursing practices

• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives

• Serve as a resource for evidence-based nursing care

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with CNO and current BCLS

• At least three years of hospital nursing experience

• Proven ability to mentor and support clinical learners

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Commitment to patient safety and quality care
