Location: Kawartha Lakes
A small animal practice in Kawartha Lakes is offering an externship for veterinary students. Students will collaborate with a supervising veterinarian to enhance their clinical skills while performing tasks such as gathering patient histories, physical examinations, and assisting with surgical procedures. The externship lasts between two to eight weeks, providing a supportive environment for students to grow professionally while receiving a stipend for travel and living expenses.
