Peer Support Youth Worker Fenelon Falls Class 03

This position is responsible for engaging and supporting youth through the Youth Services department serving Lindsay and Fenelon Falls. The Peer Support Youth Workers act as mentors for youth and support youth in accessing resources and developing skills that can help them to achieve their full potential. Peer Support Youth Workers are responsible for program development and facilitation focused on skills & well-being activities.

The Peer Support Youth Worker will assist with Supervision of participants, employees and problem-solving and may be required to intervene in crisis situations. Youth Services are offered during youth-friendly hours and therefore, the Peer Support Youth Worker will regularly work evenings and Saturdays.
