BGC Kawarthas is seeking a passionate and motivated Peer Support Youth Worker to join our team. In this role, you will support the development and delivery of engaging youth programs and services during after-school and evening hours, helping young people build confidence, resilience, and life skills in a safe and welcoming environment.

As a Peer Support Youth Worker, you will serve as a positive role model and mentor, supporting youth in accessing resources, developing meaningful relationships, and reaching their full potential. You will plan and facilitate activities that promote well-being, personal growth, and skill development while fostering an inclusive and supportive program environment.

• A passion for working with youth and supporting their personal growth and well-being.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Sound judgment, problem-solving abilities, and the confidence to respond appropriately in challenging situations.
• Flexibility to work after-school, evening, and occasional weekend hours.

• Ability to travel independently between Lindsay and Fenelon Falls

• A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are considered assets.

• Primarily after-school and evening shifts.
• Some weekend work is required.
