Part Time Transit Driver

Drive specialized Transit and Limo vehicles part-time with the City of Kawartha Lakes in Lindsay. Deliver exceptional customer service while safely transporting passengers on set routes.

This part-time position requires a dedicated Transit Driver to operate vehicles daily, providing safe transportation and outstanding customer service. Key responsibilities include collecting fares, maintaining order on vehicles, and assisting passengers with disabilities. The aim is to enhance ridership through exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport passengers on designated routes

• Collect fares and verify transit passes

• Maintain vehicle orderliness and address disruptions

• Update log books and accurately record incidents

• Assist passengers with disabilities effectively

Requirements:

• Secondary School diploma required

• Minimum 2 years related experience preferred

• Valid Ontario Class “B”, “C” or “E” license

• Current First Aid and CPR Certification

• Excellent time management and communication skills
