Caressant Care is looking for a passionate Behavioural Support Registered Nurse to join our team of care providers.

• Promotion and contributions to the development of a person-centred philosophy of care for residents exhibiting behavioural challenges
• Utilization of effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the resident, family, staff and care providers to ensure that a holistic plan of care is in place for the resident
• Knowledge in dementia care, delirium, mental health concerns and the impact that it has on the resident's quality of life, family members and care partners
• Possesses and maintains RPN Certification and qualifications, and maintains good standing with the College of Nurses
• Specialized training qualifications, including PIECES, Gentle Persuasive Approach, and U-First
• Experience in a Geriatric Long Term Care facility
• Understands and upholds all rules and requirements under applicable legislation, policies, and procedures

This is a permanent part-time position. The pay rate is $36.06 to $54.59 per hour, depending on experience, with terms and conditions of employment per the Collective Agreement.
