Living Water Clinic-Clinica Agua Viva is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Position Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care under physician supervision.
  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Assist in minor medical procedures as appropriate to scope of practice.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Stay updated on best practices and medical advancements, participating in ongoing professional development.
  • Adhere to Living Water Clinic-Clinica Agua Viva’s mission and core values, ensuring a compassionate and culturally competent approach to care.

Requirements:

Licensure & Certification
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required upon hire).
  • Current and valid Physician Assistant (PA) license in California.
Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to diagnose and develop treatment plans.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and care coordination.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience providing instruction in higher education or clinical training settings.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
