Publications Specialist

Our client, professional membership organization is seeking a Publications Specialist to join their team on temporary to permanent basis in Linthicum, Maryland.

• Provide editorial and operational support for publications, journals, newsletters, and web content
• Copyedit and proofread materials for accuracy, grammar, and consistency
• Coordinate publication schedules and support timely print and digital releases
• Manage website content updates and multimedia publication materials
• Support webinars, annual meeting materials, awards publications, and special projects
• Collaborate with authors, physicians, editors, vendors, and internal teams
• Track publication workflows and provide backup support across multiple projects

• Bachelor's degree required
• 2+ years of publishing, editorial, communications, or related experience
• Strong copyediting, proofreading, and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
• Experience with CMS platforms and Wrike preferred
• Medical, scientific, or scholarly publishing experience preferred but not required

• Permanent Salary: $66K-$68K
