We are seeking candidates for the position of Principal / Senior Principal Systems Engineer - Integration & Test to support Advanced Technology development programs. This position is on site in the greater Baltimore, MD Area.
What You’ll Get To Do- Plan and execute the program lifecycle, including major program milestones / reviews (e.g., SRR, SFR, SDR, PDR, CDR, SVR, TRR, peer reviews, Pre-test reviews, Post Test Reviews, Pre-Ship reviews, Etc.)
- Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW) and system requirements.
- Manage the vertical and horizontal technical integration throughout the product teams and program life cycle, collaborating across an entire portfolio of programs.
- Collect, manage, and report the program metrics and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs).
- Manage risk and opportunity and the production of core engineering work products and track the work products and associated program dependencies in the program schedule.
- Coordinate between the System Architect(s), Chief Engineer(s), Product Team Lead(s), program manager(s), and customers to ensure the integrity and executability of the program technical baseline.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of experience, a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 3 years of experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 1 year of experience
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required to start
- Demonstrated experience with Systems Development Lifecycle - Focus on SRR to CDR
- Demonstrated experience in systems development, integration, and test
- Demonstrated Requirements Management from Elicitation to Verification
- Demonstrated experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML/MBSE)
- Risk and Opportunity Management experience
- Experience leading technical teams
- This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience, a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 4 years of experience
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required to start
- Demonstrated experience with Systems Development Lifecycle - Focus on SRR to CDR
- Demonstrated experience in systems development, integration, and test
- Demonstrated Requirements Management from Elicitation to Verification
- Demonstrated experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML/MBSE)
- Risk and Opportunity Management experience
- Experience leading technical teams
- This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering processing from generation of an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) to Work Product Breakdown into Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for the development of complex systems of systems
- Experience working with CAMEO or other similar MBSE management tools
- Master’s degree or PhD in STEM or technical management
- Understanding of DoD systems engineering requirements (e.g., UAF, DoDAF)
- Multi-Disciplinary Engineering exposure (Software, Hardware, Electrical) and strong ability to communicate cross functionally
- Experience managing contracts of $10M+
