- Plan and execute the program lifecycle, including major program milestones and reviews (e.g., SRR, SFR, SDR, PDR, CDR, SVR, TRR, peer reviews, pre‑test reviews, post‑test reviews, pre‑ship reviews, etc.).
- Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW) and system requirements.
- Manage the vertical and horizontal technical integration throughout the product teams and program life cycle, collaborating across an entire portfolio of programs.
- Collect, manage, and report the program metrics and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs).
- Manage risk and opportunity and produce core engineering work products, tracking the work products and associated program dependencies in the program schedule.
- Coordinate between the System Architect(s), Chief Engineer(s), Product Team Lead(s), program manager(s), and customers to ensure the integrity and executability of the program technical baseline.
This position will serve on‑site in the greater Baltimore, MD area.
This requisition may be filled as a Principal Systems Engineer – Integration & Test or Senior Principal Systems Engineer – Integration & Test.
This position is contingent upon funding/contract award, special access program, and acquiring and maintaining the necessary U.S. government security clearance per customers' requirements prior to start.
Basic Qualifications for Principal Systems Engineer – Integration & Test- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of experience, a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 3 years of experience, or a Ph.D. in a STEM discipline with 1 year of experience.
- Demonstrated experience with Systems Development Lifecycle – Focus on SRR to CDR.
- Demonstrated experience in systems development, integration, and test.
- Demonstrated Requirements Management from elicitation to verification.
- Demonstrated experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML/MBSE).
- Risk and Opportunity Management experience.
- Experience leading technical teams.
- Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
- Current active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI and a Polygraph prior to start.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience, a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of experience, or a Ph.D. in a STEM discipline with 4 years of experience.
- Demonstrated experience with Systems Development Lifecycle – Focus on SRR to CDR.
- Demonstrated experience in systems development, integration, and test.
- Demonstrated Requirements Management from elicitation to verification.
Demonstrated experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML/MBSE). - Risk and Opportunity Management experience.
