Job Title: Systems Engineer (Hardware)
Location: Linthicum, MD Required Clearance: TS/SCI w/ CI Poly Salary: Negotiable

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to support a project, specializing in FPGA design and development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in VHDL or Verilog HDL coding and simulation, along with experience using Model Sim and Xilinx tools.

• Implement FPGA-based systems.
• Perform VHDL/Verilog coding, simulation, and verification using Model Sim.
• Utilize Xilinx tools for FPGA development, synthesis, and debugging.
• Conduct hardware testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with software and systems engineers on integration efforts.
• Document design processes, test results, and technical findings.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in FPGA design, simulation, and implementation.
• Proficiency in VHDL or Verilog HDL coding and Model Sim simulations.
• Hands-on experience with Xilinx tools (Vivado, ISE, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with software languages (Java, C, C++, Ruby on Rails).
• Familiarity with operating systems (Unix, Linux, Windows).
• Prior experience working on DoD or defense-related projects.
