Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) is seeking Principal / Senior Principal System Integration Lab (SIL) Developer.

As a member of the MOD/SIM team you will work on system performance analysis and system level modeling, based on the lower-level component and segment models produced by other teams. The System Level MOD/SIM engineering team will model the interactions (electrical, mechanical, thermal, digital, etc.) among the lower-level modelled components to analyze performance.

The MOD/SIM team will also eventually model fabrication/factory performance, so an engineer with subject matter expertise in products such as Flex Sim would be a welcome addition to the team.

This position will serve on-site in the greater Baltimore, MD area.

This requisition may be filled as a Principal MOD/SIM Systems Engineer or Senior Principal MOD/SIM Systems Engineer.

This position is contingent upon acquiring and maintaining the necessary US Government security clearance per customers’ requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, 3 years of experience with Master's degree in STEM discipline, 1 year of experience with PhD in STEM discipline
• Strong understanding of Systems Engineering fundamentals, principles, and processes
• Ability to apply M&S expertise through technology processes, methodologies, standards, or frameworks
• Demonstrated experience in applying STAT/DOE tools and methodologies in an integrated test environment
• Expertise with various types of Modeling & Simulation tools, such as Python, MATLAB, COMSOL, Flex Sim
• Demonstrated experience with MBSE to include defining analysis with parametric diagrams and capturing different system configurations and performance values
• This position requires the applicant to be a US Citizen
• Current Active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI w. Polygraph prior to start
