Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Linthicum, Maryland is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to serve as the Deputy Mission Systems Engineering Integration and Test Integrated Product Team Lead and Cost Account Manager (Deputy MSEIT IPT Lead/CAM) for a Production Space RADAR Payload program.

This exciting role offers the chance to work at the intersection of cutting‑edge technology and complex space systems. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams for all mission elements, including ground system tasking and processing, RADAR payload, Space Vehicle (bus), and on‑orbit operations to innovate and improve mission capabilities.
In addition, you will be responsible for the Cost Account Manager (CAM) duties, including monitoring spending rate, organizing 3‑month increment planning across the MSEIT team, supervising task milestone progress, and weekly reporting of quantifiable backup data (QBD).
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) curriculum with 12 years relevant experience; 10 years with MS Degree; 7 years with PhD
- System Requirements Development and Verification
- Mission Systems Engineering Experience
- 5 years of Technical Team Leadership Experience
- Full Program Life‑cycle Experience
- Cost Account Management Experience
- Experience with Atlassian Tools, including Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Git, etc.
- United States Citizenship
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access and Polygraph.
- BS or MS in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
- Experience with ESA (Electronically Scanned Array) Antennas, RADARs, and Space Sensor System Payloads for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Targeting Missions
Primary Level Salary Range: $ - $. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
