POSITION: Sr. Systems Engineer

LCAT: System Engineer, Level 3

REQUISITION: NIN-SE

LOCATION: Linthicum, Maryland



JOB DESCRIPTION :

Develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project.



Required Qualifications :

• Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Ability to define, implement and maintain processes and procedures to meet project objectives
• Experienced with analyzing and identifying opportunities for process improvements
• Experienced with developing initiatives for continuous process improvements
• Ability to work with the customer and developers in the integration of applications
• Ability to use best practices to carry-out system engineering, reengineering, process measurements and change management activities
• Experience working with stakeholders to identify business requirements, processes, and risks

DESIRED

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience applying system engineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects
• Familiar with performing activity and data modeling, developing modern business methods, identifying best practices, and creating and assessing performance management
• Experienced with executing as key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts
• Ability to document and track requirements and assist in driving them to completion

EDUCATION:

• Bachelors Degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline is required

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required

• No Degree + 25 years
