Help Desk Specialist

In this role you will provide Tier 1 support to end users by utilizing various technical directories and virtual applications.

• Provide Tier 1 help desk support to end users.
• Troubleshoot general IT-related issues.
• Utilize technical directories and virtual resources to assist end users.
• Respond to mission-critical needs on an on-call basis (10%).

• Experience troubleshooting general IT related issues.
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Familiarity with LAN/WAN terminologies.
• Familiarity with basic hardware terminologies.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

• Familiarity with COTS and GOTS applications.
• Experience providing Tier 1 or Tier 2 Help Desk support.
• Experience troubleshooting through technical directories and virtual resources.
• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.

The salary range for this position: $55,000 - $65,000
