As a Database Engineer II, you will help automate system security evaluations, leverage your expertise in database design and development to improve monitoring and data gathering, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop workflows, database structures, and parsing software.

• Innovative and forward-thinking in automating database solutions
• Technical and detail-oriented in database design
• Collaborative in integrating database capabilities with applications
• Proficient in modern database frameworks and tools

• Develop and maintain database structures
• Lead workflow creation to replace manual processes
• Provide expertise in database design and data analysis
• Support development and testing of Python-based ReST endpoints using Django and Flask
• Work with databases like Maria
  
  DB, Mongo
  
  DB, and Postgre
  
  SQL, sending data in JSON format to UI front ends

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Python and experience with Mongo
  
  DB or MariaDB
• Experience with Django or Flask
• Understanding of ReST endpoints and microservice architecture

• Familiarity with Swagger API documentation
• Experience with AWS, C2S, or other cloud environments
• Knowledge of Docker, JSON, XML serialization
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, and Agile environments
