Network/System Engineer - FS POLYGRAPH REQUIRED with Security Clearance

We’re looking for a Network/System Administrator - PRIME CONTRACT to join our team. TS/SCI with Polygraph required before consideration.

Must support on-site in either Augusta, GA or Linthicum Heights, MD.

• CompTIA Security+ & Cisco certification (CCNA preferred)
• 5 years of hands‑on experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure in a multi‑site environment

• Configuration of RADIUS and 802.1X authentication
• Role‑based access control (RBAC) and VLAN assignment
• Integration with Active Directory and certificate‑based authentication
• Solid understanding of Cisco routing and switching, including configuration of VLANs, trunking, spanning tree, static/dynamic routing
• Familiarity with IOS and NX‑OS environments
• Experience administering VMware vSphere and ESXi, including host provisioning, VM management, vCenter operations
• Resource planning and basic troubleshooting of hypervisors
• Working knowledge of Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance, or comparable enterprise NAS/SAN systems
• Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 network concepts, subnetting, and access control mechanisms
• Proficient in Windows Server 2016 & 2019 / Active Directory / RHEL in 100% on‑premises environment
• Ability to produce and maintain clear network/system documentation
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across multiple technology stacks
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

• VMware Certified Professional
• Aruba Certified Associate (ACCA) or Aruba Certified Professional (ACCP)
• Configure and manage Aruba Clear Pass Policy Manager for 802.1X, RADIUS, and role‑based access enforcement
• Develop and maintain access control policies based on user identity, device type, and authentication method
• Monitor and troubleshoot authentication flows, Clear Pass logs, and integration points with Active Directory
• Administer and support Cisco routers and switches, including Layer 2/3 configurations, link aggregation, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, EIGRP)
• Perform routine maintenance, firmware upgrades, and configuration backups for network hardware
• Manage VMware ESXi hosts and vSphere environments, including resource allocation, performance monitoring, and snapshot management
• Administer Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance for shared storage provisioning, snapshot retention, and capacity planning
• Assist with network segmentation and VLAN design across multiple physical locations
• Contribute to the design and deployment of secure, high‑availability infrastructure solutions
• Create and update technical documentation for system/network configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and diagrams
• Collaborate with other IT staff on incident response, system upgrades, and project rollouts
• Nice to have:
  Experience creating custom Clear Pass enforcement profiles, downloadable user roles, or integrating Clear Pass with external MDM/EDR platforms
• Familiarity with Aruba Central for wireless infrastructure monitoring and cloud-based AP management
• Exposure to Palo Alto Networks for firewall configuration and VPN support
• Ability to script in Power Shell, Python, or Bash for automation of routine network/system tasks
• Knowledge of STIGs, NIST 800‑171
• Experience with TLS certificate management and integration into authentication flows
• Prior work with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles or micro segmentation strategies
• Familiarity with syslog servers, SNMP monitoring tools
• Ability to contribute to disaster recovery or continuity planning for infrastructure services
• Comfortable participating in change control, incident response, and cross‑team technical discussions
