Be the senior strategic and operational advisor to a Government CIO for a DoD cyber mission customer in the Baltimore-Washington area. What you’ll do:

  • Lead enterprise IT architecture, cloud computing strategy and enterprise data strategy, and run portfolio governance with clear structures, processes and reporting.
  • Optimize IT resource allocation and program dependencies with data-driven analysis, including cost-benefit analyses for build-versus-buy decisions.
  • Brief the CIO and CISO on agency-wide planned, recommended and directed actions.
  • Lead teams that receive, plan, execute and report on orders issued by USCYBERCOM or a subordinate command, or another commander with authority over the customer"s systems.
  • Lead teams running CI/CD pipelines, hybrid and multi-cloud migrations, and modern data platforms.
Must have:
  • An active TS/SCI clearance at the time of application (U.S. citizenship required).
  • PMP certification.
  • Within the last three years, at least one year leading and supervising teams working across the DoDI 8140 workforce elements: IT (cyberspace), cybersecurity, software engineering, and data/AI.
  • Within the last five years, experience briefing a CIO and CISO on agency-wide planned, recommended and directed actions.
  • Within the last seven years, at least two years overseeing personnel executing orders from USCYBERCOM or a subordinate command, the National Manager for National Security Systems, or another commander with authority over the supported systems.
Also required (the Government verifies these at contract start):
  • Within the last ten years, at least three years leading and supervising teams in Government and private networking and infrastructure environments, classified and unclassified.
  • Within the last ten years, at least three years building, operating, securing, defending and extending LAN/WAN systems: wireless, firewalls, routing and switching, IPv6, VPN, cloud, virtualized servers and storage.
  • Within the last seven years, at least five years with unified communications, including design, installation, maintenance and administration of VTC systems across unclassified, Secret and TS/SCI environments.
  • Within the last three years, at least one year leading teams running a CI/CD pipeline with containerization, micro-segmentation and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Within the last five years, at least two years leading teams migrating legacy systems into multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments.
  • Within the last seven years, at least two years leading personnel developing and implementing data lakes and modern data strategies.
