What

You’ll Do

The primary objective will be to lead the development efforts on the next generation of Electromagnetic Warfare programs. You will ensure all contractual requirements regarding cost and schedule are met, achieve all technical requirements, manage work scope, and create customer intimacy to support value‑creation strategies and actions. You will also work with the program team to develop plans for future growth.

Responsibilities
  • Establish a program organization that effectively addresses customer requirements and incorporates the necessary internal and external sub‑organizations.
  • Lead and direct cross‑functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives.
  • Measure and report program performance.
  • Deliver presentations to executive management and other program stakeholders.
  • Participate in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions.
  • Establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.
  • Create, review and finalize the program Statement of Work.
  • Identify, distribute, track, and complete program requirements.
  • Establish and manage the program and subordinate baselines. Develop and adhere to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and tools.
  • Identify, allocate, and manage program resources, including workforce planning.
  • Manage government/customer supplied property or information (GFE, CFE, etc.).
  • Manage suppliers to meet program objectives.
  • Adhere to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards. Ensure program team understands and adheres to contract scope, and manage change through control board activities.
  • Develop and adhere to master plans and schedules. Conduct thorough risk & opportunity management practices, including identification, mitigation and realization.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or project management in other industries.
  • Experience as a project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects, work streams or cross‑functional efforts to completion.
  • Must possess strong organization and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of management and individual contributors.
  • Experience working with or supporting Earned Value Management (EVM) processes and reporting tools while tracking project cost and schedules.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • A current/active Secret clearance required to be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with electronic warfare platforms, electrical and RF systems, or test equipment.
  • Experience with MS Project.
  • Demonstrated experience in program, operations, or project management.
  • System/software engineering background.
