As an Industrial Security – Manager Level 3 located in Linthicum, MD, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

The Industrial Security Manager – Level 3 will serve as the Business Unit Security Manager and oversee all security activities and operations across multiple geographically dispersed locations. This role includes guiding both briefed and non briefed personnel across all security functions and interfacing with internal and external leadership.

The successful candidate will coordinate and collaborate with a team of security professionals located across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with applicable government regulations and company requirements. They will drive excellence in the execution of security milestones across multiple disciplines (DoD, SAP, and SCI), maintain program security metrics, and effectively manage competing priorities.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, administering, and continuously improving security programs and procedures for classified and proprietary materials, documents, and  this job, you will:

Study, interpret, and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations

Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations from government agencies to support compliance with applicable regulations

Prepare manuals outlining security regulations and establish procedures for handling, storing, and maintaining records

Manage access control, granting personnel and visitors access to restricted documents, materials, and areas in accordance with approved procedures

Plan and oversee internal security reviews and audits

Investigate potential and confirmed security violations and prepare reports specifying corrective and preventive actions

Provide direction and guidance to security team members in executing their assigned scope of work Support team members’ professional development and growth through coaching, feedback, and development planning

Lead a team of security professionals, consistently modeling the leadership characteristics expected of all employees within the organization

Promote employee engagement across the team and foster a positive, inclusive work environment

Collaborate across programs and functions within the organization to ensure integrated, consistent security execution

Provide leadership, mentoring, and professional development support to security professionals at all levels
